Intro
A genuine leather bag is a long-term companion — but only if you treat it right. Here’s a practical guide on how to clean, protect, and preserve your leather bag so it lasts 10+ years.
1. Use a Leather Conditioner Every 3–6 Months
Keeps the leather moisturized and prevents cracking. Use natural beeswax or leather balms.
2. Store in a Dust Bag — Not Plastic
Let it breathe. Always store in a cloth dust bag (ANV bags come with one) and keep out of direct sunlight.
3. Clean Spills Immediately
Dab (don’t rub) using a dry microfiber cloth. For oils, sprinkle cornstarch or baking soda and brush off.
4. Avoid Overstuffing
It strains the leather and warps shape. Keep its original structure by not overloading or stacking it.
5. Rotate Bags Weekly
Avoid daily wear on the same bag — rotation gives the leather time to rest and breathe.
